Arthur and Area Skating club Coaches
The Arthur and Area Skating Club is delighted to have two professional coaches on our coaching staff this season. Barb Rogers and Tessa Cremasco are both returning to coach another season. Beth Jackson is also returning as our Special Olympic Skating Coach. We also welcome Garnet Suidy as our new dance coach and partner.

Barb Rogers
Barb Rogers is a level two Skate Canada coach and has been with the Arthur and Area Skating Club for 10 years. Barb loves to skate and loves teaching the art of skating to all of our club members.
- Level 2 Certified Coach
- Synchronized Skating Coach
- Married with a wonderful husband and two girls who both love to skate.
- Member of Rhapsody on Ice for 2 years, world traveling synchronized show team skating in Austrailia, Hawaii, Arizona, Florida and California.
- Full time Production Inventory Control Manager in Arthur.

Tessa Cremasco
Tessa has been a member of the Arthur club for 16 years, as a skater, program assistant, volunteer coach and is now a professional Skate Canada coach.
- Primary StarSkate Certified Coach
- Special Olympics Theory and Technical Qualifications
- Coaching for 4 years, Arthur Club and Skate Canada – Mount Forest
- Passed gold dances and skills, senior bronze freeskate, intr. interpretive.
- Qualified National Lifeguard and Swimming Instructor
- Race Car Driver in the 4 Cylinder Class at Varney Motor Speedway – finished 3rd in points this year
- Student at Wilfrid Laurier University – Music Education Major – 3rd Year

Garnet Suidy
Garnet has joined us this season as coach and dance partner to our intermediate and senior level skaters. He has been a strong addition to our coaching staff.
- Presently working on completing level one coaching.
- National competitor in both singles and pairs.
- 4th year student at Wilfrid Laurier University in International Relations.
- Senior Comptetitive test, Gold skills, dance, freeskate and interpretive.

Beth Jackson
Beth has assisted with our Special Olympics program for most of the past 13 years. Beth has been involved with the Arthur Skating Club since she skated herself as a child. Her excellent work with our Special Olympic Athletes has made her an invaluable member of our club. Beth's daughter Holly is also a club member and carries on Beth's love of skating. Beth is a registered nurse working in the Arthur Area, and has her Special Olympics Theory and Technical Qualifications.
