It’s that time of year again…time to dust off those skates and get ready for the upcoming skating season. We’ve added new programs and made some fun and energizing changes to our Canskate program. It promises to be an exciting season…we’d love for you to join us!!
Learn to Skate – A beginner program for skaters 3 years of age and up. 30 minute sessions with professional coaching. Excellent introductory program for young hockey or ringette hopefuls.
24 week program - $124.00
offered Mondays from 5:30-6:00
Canskate – Beginner skaters up to stage 5. Professional coaching and Program Assistants
Mondays 5:30 - 6:30 ~ $219.00
CanSynchro – An introductory program to teach the fundamentals of Synchronized skating. Must be registered in a skating program to participate. (no additional fundraising fee)
Saturday Morning 9:15- 9:45 - $85.00
Pre-Junior – This program is designed for skaters working on their higher Canskate badges but would like to progress at a quicker pace. (no additional fundraising fee)
Monday 5:00- 5:30 ~ $100.00 in addition to Canskate fees
Junior – Transitional program into Intermediate. Dance is introduced. Professional coaching and
Program Assistants.1 Day per Week - $320.00
2 Days per Week - $409.00
Mondays 6:30-7:45, Wednesdays 5-6:30
Intermediate – Intermediate skaters have finished the Canskate program. Professional
Group coaching is offered. 1 Day per week $320.00
2 Days per Week - $409.00
Mondays 6:30-7:45, Wednesdays 5-6:30
Senior – Coaching by private lesson only
1 Day per Week - $320.00
2 Days per Week - $409.00
6:30-8:30 Mondays, Wednesdays 5:30- 7:30
Synchronized Teams
Pre-Novice ~ $440.00 Includes 2 hours on-ice and 1 hour of mandatory off-ice training.
Wednesday 7:30 - 8:30 and Saturday Mornings 10:00- 11:00
Juvenile ~ $300.00 Includes 1 hour of on-ice and 1 hour of mandatory off-ice training.
Saturdays 9:00- 9:45am
Special Olympics – This group skates on Wednesdays. They are required to pay the $31.00 Skate Canada fee at registration and then pay a “per session” fee when they come out.
Monday 5:00- 5:30
Parent and Tot - A perfect opportunity to come out with your young child and skate with other parents under the supervision of professional coaches. Offered on Mondays from 5-5:30. Cost is $100 for the season (total for both you and your child)
Adult Skatercise: Get those old skates out and come join us for some fun! Full season of skating Monday nights from 7:30 - 8:30. Cost $219.00
Fundraising fee: This year we will have a family fundraising fee of $100 per family not per skater. This gives you tickets you can sell for a 50/50 draw as well as New Orleans Discount Cards that you can also sell for $10 each, which will pay for your $100 fee.
Skate Canada Fee: - Must be paid in order to take part in our programs. Includes insurance for the season. Cost $31 per skater per year.
Family Discount – Registration will be ½ price for third family member.
All registration fees must be paid in full by October 31st 2009 (special arrangements may be made upon request, at the approval of the Executive)

5:30 - 6:30 - Learn to Skate and Canskate
6:30 - 7:45 - Junior and Intermediate
6:30- 8:30 - Senior
7:30 - 8:30 - Adult Skatercise
Wednesday:
5:00 - 6:30 - Junior and Intermediate
5:30 - 7:30 - Senior
7:30 - 8:30 Pre Novice Synchro
Saturday:
9:00 - 10:00 - Juvenile Synchro
9:15 - 9:45 - Cansynchro
10:00 - 10:15 - Off Ice Cansynchro
10:00 - 11:00 - Off Ice Juvenile
10:00 - 11:00 - Pre- Novice Synchro
11:00 - 12:00 - Pre - Novice off ice.
