Arthur and Area Skating Club Registration Dates

Yes we will still accept new registrations!

It’s that time of year again…time to dust off those skates and get ready for the upcoming skating season.

Learn to Skate – A beginner program for skaters 3 years of age and up. 30 minute sessions with professional coaching. Excellent introductory program for young hockey or ringette hopefuls.
                                        10 week program - $80.00
                                         offered Monday evenings or Saturday mornings
                                         $20.00 mandatory fundraising fee

Youth Learn to Skate – This program is designed for ages 10 – 19 who would like to learn the fundamentals of skating in a teen friendly atmosphere.
                                        10 week program - $80.00
                                         offered on Wednesdays
                                         $20.00 mandatory fundraising fee

Canskate – Beginner skaters up to stage 5. Professional coaching and Program Assistants
There are some Saturdays throughout the season that need to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, (hockey, ringette tournaments etc.) therefore we are offering a price break for Saturday Canskaters.
                                        Saturday ~ $170.00
                                        Monday ~ $210.00
                                        Both Days - $305.00

Pre-Junior – This is a new program designed for skaters working on their higher Canskate badges but would like to progress at a quicker pace.
                                        Monday ~ $100.00 in addition to Canskate fees
                                        (no additional fundraising fee)

Junior – Transitional program into Intermediate. Dance is introduced. Professional coaching and Program Assistants.
                                        1 Day per Week - $310.00
                                        2 Days per Week - $400.00

Intermediate – Intermediate skaters have finished the Canskate program. Professional
                        Group coaching is offered.
                                         1 Day per Week - $ 310.00
                                         2 Days per Week - $ 400.00

Senior – Coaching by private lesson only
                                         1 Day per Week - $ 310.00
                                         2 Days per Week - $ 400.00

Synchronized Teams
Pre-Novice ~ $400.00   Includes 2 hours on-ice and 1 hour of mandatory off-ice training.
Juvenile ~ $300.00   Includes 1 hour of on-ice and 1 hour of mandatory off-ice training.

Special Olympics – This talented group skates on Wednesdays. They are required to pay the $30.00 Skate Canada fee at registration and then pay a “per session” fee when they come out.

$60.00 mandatory fundraising fee for one child, or $80.00 mandatory fundraising fee for family of 2 or more. This gives you a book of tickets to sell, or submit yourself, for our Lucky Draws.

Family Discount – ½ price for third family member

Special Olympics: 4:30-5:30
Juvenile Synchro: 5:30-6:30
Senior: 6:30-8:30
Novice Synchro: 8:30-9:30

Saturday:
9:00-10:00 Novice Synchro
10:00-11:00 Canskate
11:00-12:00 Off-ice

Season starts September 22nd 2008 and runs until March 2009.
